This is a fantastic tasting Pizza without the usual cheese. The lack of cheese allows for all flavours to be enjoyed without being masked by the layers of cheese.. Many people will find this recipe even better tasting than the original cheese recipes. It’s fast and easy to make. We love this one and recommend it.Base:
We used the Ancient Grains Organic Rye Pizza Bases. The ingredients are: Organic Rye Flower & Sourdough, Filtered Water, Sea Salt & Olive Oil.
The Bases are distributed by Raffles Healthy Food. You can also make your own.
The topping is made using the following:
- Basic Tomato Paste, ensure it is sugar & additives free
- Baby Spinach
- Kalamata Pitted Olives
- Red Capsicum
- Sliced Mushrooms
- Unsweetened Pineapple Pieces (If using tinned pieces they are in natural juice not syrup to avoid sugar).
- Feta Cheese
- Capers
- Finely chopped walnuts
- Drizzle with olive oil or sesame oil
- Sprinkle with Chilli Flakes
- Himalayan Salt and Pepper to taste
Method:
- Dress the base with all ingredients.
- Set oven to 180 degrees celsius and bake for 20 min.
- Sprinkle with Fresh Spring Onion after baking.
Serve with luscious green salad dressed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
