Changing The Health Of Kilcoy – Weekly Snapshots

Changing the Health of Kilcoy was a program that was run in the township of Kilcoy in South East Queensland, Australia. It commenced on the 4th of February, 2018. The purpose of this program was to start the process of changing the health of Kilcoy.

On this page we have put together a collection of videos that were taken at each session. The videos highlight what each of the twelve sessions covers.

Session 1
The Diabetic Health Clinic program together with the local community of Kilcoy, along with some of the medical professionals in town is undertaking to change the health of the town.

Week 1 was amazing. Over 300 people came along. It just goes to show that people do actually want to do the right thing however with so much misinformation out there it is confusing and often people are so disappointed with their efforts. We are looking forward to the program as it continues because Kilcoy has stood up and said enough is enough!

Session 2
In session 2 we start to learn about what could be the cause of our lifestyle diseases. Many people don’t realise just how damaging certain foods are to the human body and this information for many people is eye opening. During session 2 many people start to visualise that maybe a better state of health is possible. It is a exciting realisation.

This is a short video from session 3 so that you can see how exciting some of these facts are for people, who are discovering this priceless information for the first time.

Session 3
In session 3 we discover how the metabolic system is put under pressure in our modern day society. This is information that everyone should undersdand as having this knowledge allows a person to understand what choices need to be made to ensure that good health is maintained.

Session 4
In session 4 we learn about foods, how they are made and what they are made from. With the understanding from the previous weeks where we learnt how the metabolic system breaks down and then and how the drugs are used to control the health issues that are associated, people attending after session 4 can very clearly see why the food that we eat today is such a big problem.

Session 5
Session 5 is a key session as we start to explore the ways that a long term lifestyle can be achieved. In this session people start to understand their options and are therefore thinking through how they think that their long term lifestyle change can be implemented.

Session 6
Session 6 is the preparation session.  When a person is prepared for what is about to happen they are in a position where it is virtually impossible to fail. In the preparation period, we leave no stone unturned, every possible scenario will be thought about and will be planned for. The coaching part of the program empowers people to do what they would normally write off to the impossible list! 

Session 7
Session 7 is the period where the last touches are made when it comes to preperaration. It is the period where we consolidate everything that we have learnt and then we fine tune our staretegies as we step into the amazing lifestyle change period.

Session 8
Session 8 is the first session after the commencement of the “Lifestyle Change” period. The beginning stages can be tough as participants are dealing with food addictions, including the sugar addiction. The body is now starting to enter into a fasting state.

Session 9

In session 9 we are at a point where people have stepped into their lifestyle change period, and whilst there may be some challenges they are also experiencing the wonderful benefits of ceasing to eat any processed foods.

Most people are surprised that the results are so profound. There are changes in markers that most people did not think possible, even doctors can be surprised with the results. At this stage people are over their cravings including the sugar addiction. In this period of time people are also starting to settle into the process that they have planned for.

Session 10

In session 10 we get to witness the amazing changes that people are experiencing. The weight loss can be hard to believe, blood sugar levels returning to normal, blood pressure normalising, insanely good quality sleep, a special feeling of well being. Participants at this stage often have to purchase new clothes as the old ones are to big.

Most importantly the desire to have anything that is processed at this stage for most people has now gone. The mechanics of the lifestyle change are now becoming evident.

Session 11

By week 11 the results have become evident. The changes are not just internal but also external. Many people have physically changed. Many participants for the first time have stopped taking their medications. Many participants experience a happiness that they have not had before. To summarise, the people that you are about to see have been through a life changing experience.

Most importantly the desire to have anything that is processed at this stage for most people has now gone. The mechanics of the lifestyle change are now becoming evident.

Session 12

Week 12 is the last session of the program.

The profound difference is in the health outcomes and also in how people feel. The results are amazing. In session 12 we finally get the full picture of what food does to the human body. The corrective action is simple. Stop eating anything that comes out of a factory and indulge in the foods that we ate as humans before our industrialised age. If it grows in the dirt eat if it comes out of a factory don’t eat it.

For people who follow this rule the outcomes are so significant that it is hard to believe.
