You need this smoothie!

Using almond milk to make your smoothies is a great healthy choice.  Many people cannot tolerate dairy and besides check out the health benefits of almond milk.

  1. Diabetic Friendly, because almond milk only contains 8 grams of carbohydrates per serving it has very limited effect on blood sugar levels.
  2. Weight Management. Almond milk contains only 60 calories per 236ml serving.  This makes it an ideal milk for weight management
  3. Heart Health, because almond milk contains 0% cholesterol and only 5mg of sodium per serving it is great for heart health and maintaining a healthy blood pressure.
  4. Bone Health. Almond milk contains 50% of our daily recommended calcium and vitamin D.  These nutrients are required to build strong bones.
  5. Skin Care. A serving of almond milk contains 50% of our recommended daily amount of vitamin E. Vitamin E is required to regulate vitamin A use and availability.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup almond milk (Organic)
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Tsp of organic honey
  • 2 Fresh passionfruit
  • Sprinkle of Cinnamon

Method:

Use pulp from passionfruit, blend all ingredients in a blender for a couple of minutes.  Enjoy fresh.
