If you enjoy your fruit, morning is usually the best time to be consuming those as they provide you with plenty of energy, and ample time to burn it, till you retire to sleep. You can try and substitute some of the fruit for ones that you may have available to you at the time, just keep in mind that the more fruit you put in, the more you are going to have to burn off. That is another reason why we always tend to add some vegies into our predominantly fruity juices. Plus you would find them too sweet after having mainly vegetable juices.
This juice is filling and energising
Ingredients:
2 bunches of green grapes
2 whole kiwi fruit
8 generous carrots
3 celery sticks
½ lemon peeled (unless organic, then skin can be juiced as well)
¼ rock melon or cantaloupe
Method:
Wash all fruit and vegetables thoroughly, and if you are juicing with the skin, make sure you use a scrubbing brush and even some detergent to wash the fruit/vegies really well of all soil residual or any nasties that may be on the skin. Then progress to juicing all ingredients in no specific order. Enjoy immediately, or store in an glass airtight jar for up to 24 hours in the fridge. Plastic bottles are best to be avoided.
Makes around 1 litre of juice.
